Morning routine


My goal is to have my middle grades fantasy novel completed by the time I get to Charlotte for the SCBWI-Carolinas fall conference at the end of the month. 

Steps on my plan include: 

  • Get up at 6 a.m. every weekday, and then
  • Work out for 30 minutes, and then
  • Get showered and dressed, and then
  • Write and edit until it's time to leave.
  • Also, write and edit as much as possible at night and on the weekends.


Huge thanks to Hubby, who has been doing the bulk of the cooking, cleaning, and pet care during the process.
